In the near future we will be posting information and contacts for snorkling and scuba diving opportunities in the clear warm waters surounding the Calatagan peninsula.
Calatagan is the main town on this peninsula that has the South China Sea to the west side and Balayan Bay on the east. It is a 3-4 hour drive south of Manila, Philippines in Batangas province. It has long been a seaside getaway area for city dwellers and a prefferred location for weekend homes by the sea. The area retains much of the small town provincial feel that sets it apart from the bustling city or heavily developed resort areas.
Consequently; finding accomodations and dive opportunities can be difficult without some local knowledge. We want to provide this website to assist in connecting those looking for a friendly low key place to stay and enjoy the sea with the operators in the area.
